Responsibilities

Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Technical Account Director or a Sales Engineer
- 5+ years experience in technical positions required.
- 3+ years of experience in customer-facing or customer supporting positions.
- 3+ years of operational experience in cybersecurity operations or data analytics

Sales Engineer
MixMode is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to support high level accounts through the MixMode sales and implementation process.

Job Summary:
The mission of the Sales Engineer (SE) at MixMode is to support the sales demonstration and proof of concept process from a technical perspective. The SE acts in a consultative fashion and is looked to as an expert in the Cyber Security field by the sales team, partners and customers.
Responsibilities:
- Understand the prospect or customer’s requirements and how to map these to a MixMode solution that meets their needs, budget and timeline.
- Demonstrate the benefits of MixMode’s products and services to both technical and non-technical audiences. Understand MixMode’s differentiators. Research the technical requirements of an opportunity to scope and architect a solution that meets the prospect or customer’s needs.
- Conduct Proof of Concept (POC) engagements on sales opportunities. This includes scoping the appropriate use cases in agreement with the prospect, installation and configuration of MixMode. Conducting POC review calls and helping to produce an executive review presentation at completion.
- Address & remove prospect technical objections from the POC / sales opportunity process.
- Prepare and deliver prospect and customer presentations, including demonstrations of MixMode, to address customer requirements and in support of marketing or partner activities on an as-needed basis.
- Work with the MixMode Support, Engineering and Product teams to resolve outstanding issues, communicate feature requests as well as prospect and partner meeting trends to help ensure alignment.
- Support the implementation and growth of existing MixMode customers, as needed, by providing technical and use-case demonstrations and support.
- Maintaining the MixMode demo environment to ensure current exploits and tactics can be demonstrated to customers.
Requirements:
- Experience in cybersecurity and/or networking technology domains.

The primary responsibilities of the Controller are to manage and control the accounting function through preparation of financial reports for management, the Board of Directors and the auditors. The successful candidate will be the owner of GAAP financial reporting, including but not limited to consolidations, revenue recognition, equity compensation, lease accounting, consolidations, purchase accounting and capitalized software. In addition to ownership GAAP reporting, the Controller will be responsible for working in conjunction with the Finance organization to generate, analyze, and disseminate monthly budget versus actual analyses to stakeholders within the organization. The successful candidate must be dynamic and quick to react to a rapidly growing and changing business. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross functionally with all facets of the organization and external parties.
The Controller is to ensure efficient and orderly financial operations through hands-on demonstration, professional guidance and supervision of the Accounting team. This position will need to communicate, monitor and ensure progress towards compliance and attainment of company goals.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the month end close process by managing to the close calendar and assisting team members with completing close activities, including consolidation of international subsidiaries, foreign currency translations, and review of reconciliations prepared by staff.
- Manage the day to day operations of the accounting department inclusive of billings, collections, purchasing, and payables.
- Provide leadership required to grow and strengthen the Accounting team, with a commitment to recruiting, training and mentoring.
- Monitor revenue and expenses; coordinate the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data, and preparing special reports as needed.

- Streamline processes by leveraging ERP software to automate where possible, and introducing additional software to provide a better user experience.
- Guide other departments by researching and interpreting accounting policy; applying observations and recommendations to operational issues.
- Manage tax planning strategies and preparation and review of documentation to support city, state, and federal income, payroll, and indirect tax filings and compliance.
- Work cross functionally among all groups in the organization to understand and enhance business processes.

- BA/BS in Accounting or Finance with an emphasis in Accounting required; CPA preferred.
- Mix of public accounting and industry experience preferred.
