Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified Technical Account Director to oversee and address our customers’ technical needs. You will provide accurate technical service before and after the point of sale, ensuring customer satisfaction. You will serve as the linchpin of every customer engagement. You will work closely with our customers and engineers to demo, deploy, operationalize, and to extend the platform.
As a Technical Account Director, you should be a tech-savvy professional, able to explain technical details and requirements to a non-technical audience. You should also be results-driven and aspire to achieve specific goals. Ultimately, you should be able to provide technical, product and business knowledge to support the sales process and strengthen customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for customers to support pre-sales and post-sales processes
- Address all product-related queries on time
- Train customers to use products effectively. Lead demonstrations for potential customers.
- Provide developers with customers’ feedback to help identify potential new features or products
- Report on product performance and identify solutions to reduce support costs
- Act as a primary contact and escalation point to assigned customers for all technical related customer needs.
- Liaise with the sales department to win new business and increase sales
- Lead and drive phase 1 deployments in the customers’ environment
- Create reports for both internal management and the customer on assigned customer action items.
- Manage and maintain a professional business relationship with assigned customer accounts through regular communication, on-site meetings and executive briefings.
- Track & manage any assigned actions for the customer and ensure that all assigned customers or potential customers receive high quality support from all departments.
- Work closely with other departments & functions within the organization to ensure that clear and concise communication is managed for the customer.
- Ensure that relevant customer information is continuously communicated to other departments, and ensure that the customer receives documented updates in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Technical Account Director or a Sales Engineer
- 5+ years experience in technical positions required.
- 3+ years of experience in customer-facing or customer supporting positions.
- 3+ years of operational experience in cybersecurity operations or data analytics
- Familiarity with software and front-end development
- An ability to grasp customers’ needs and suggest timely solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills.
- Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
- BSc degree in Computer Science or relevant field

Sr. Software Developer
Job Title: Senior Developer
Reports to: VP Engineering
Location: Santa Barbara, CA or Remote
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to produce and implement functional software solutions. You will work with upper management to define software requirements and take the lead on operational and technical projects. This is a senior or architect level role.
In this role, you should be able to work independently with little supervision. You should have excellent organization and problem-solving skills as well as hands-on experience in software development and agile methodologies.
Your goal will be to develop high-quality software that is aligned with user needs and business goals. Responsibilities:
- Develop high-quality software design and architecture
- Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development lifecycle
- Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code
- Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
- Review and debug code
- Perform validation and verification testing
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products
- Document development phases and monitor systems
- Ensure software is up-to-date with latest technologies
Requirements:
- Strong on API driven design and technologies (eg Swagger/OpenAPI)
- Strong familiarity with AWS
- Past experience with big-data applications running at scale and in real-time (TBs of data, thousands of req/s, etc)
- Understanding of microservice architectures and containerized applications
- Experience, understanding, or strong desire to learn about streaming technologies (kinesis/kafka/flink)
- Work experience with RDMS systems and ElasticSearch
- Experience with Python and/or Node.js
- Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer
- Extensive experience in software development, scripting and project management
- Familiarity with various operating systems (Linux, Mac OS, Windows)
- Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- BSc/BA in Computer Science or a related degree

Sales Development Intern
MixMode is seeking a Sales Development Intern to help deliver MixMode to security teams around the world.
Sales Development Intern
MixMode is looking for hard-working sales development interns looking to jumpstart their careers in Sales and Marketing. This position will report directly to the Head of Marketing. The intern should be prepared to work closely with the Sales Development team to conduct market research and help identify high-quality prospects. As an Sales Intern at MixMode, you will:
- Research companies to find high-quality leads
- Use spreadsheets and our CRM for data entry
- Interview team members to fine-tune results
- Work closely with sales team members for feedback and quality assurance
- Participate in sales team training exercises as part of the sales team
- Begin to develop the skills necessary for any entry level sales position
